About Me

Hey online visitors, my name is Noelle Casella and I had started Sugarbaby Sweet Shoppe when I was 17yrs old. I had always enjoyed baking, it was and still is a great hobby of mine. Upon beginning college back in 2012 at The Fashion Institute of Technology I knew I needed a job to pull me through and support myself. Thankfully, I had the enjoyment of baking to back me every step of the way. What I love about specialty cakes is that I can create a true edible work of art that everyone can enjoy, and leave a lasting memory to all whom place their trust in me with their special occasion cakes.

       Having a BFA in Illustration has taught me many techniques that I had been able to push towards my cake painting/ decorating. It is such a great moment when arriving with the clients cake and seeing the look for pure joy on their faces. Being able to be a part of someone else's big day makes all of the hardships that come with this line of work completely worth it. Everyday is a new challenge and it's always exciting to see what myself & the client will come up with next. Cakes aren't my only edible artistry- I make a variety of desserts for dessert tables and I give all clients free range of design. It's great to see many different party themes, being able to bring an idea to life through dessert is truly a one of a kind feeling. Not only does it make all of the guests want to take tons of photos but they are also an important staple to any event.

 

           I push myself everyday to strengthen my painting & decorating skills, and there will always be something new to learn. I look forward to hearing from all new, past, and present clients, let's make your next event one to remember. Turning artwork into edible artistry one cake at a time!
